Will my cat actually wear it?

Honest answer: some cats do not care, some cats object immediately. It sits on top of the head rather than wrapping the body, which is why most cats tolerate it — but if yours hates hats, this will not change their mind. Give it a few seconds, get the photo, take it off.

How does it stay on?

A soft felt loop goes over the head and sits behind the ears. There is nothing tight, nothing around the neck to pull, and nothing to buckle.

Is it safe?

It is a photo prop, not clothing. Stay with your cat while it is on, keep it to a few minutes, and take it off straight away if they paw at it, flatten their ears or freeze up. Never leave it on an unattended cat, and not on kittens under six months.

What size cats does it fit?

It is built for an average adult cat. Very small cats and very large breeds may need the loop adjusting by hand.

Can I bend the legs?

Yes. Bend them low and it crawls, bend them high and it looms. They hold the shape you put them in.

How do I clean it?

Spot-clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Do not put it in the washing machine — it will destroy the shape of the legs.

When will it arrive?
